Troup ISD board approves purchase of two Chevrolet fleet vehicles

Ty Lindsey made the motion to approve the recommendation and Jake Howard seconded. All trustees — President Shane Jasper; Vice President Todd Kelly; Secretary Lisa Lewis; and members Jake Howard, Ty Lindsey, Vic Bansal and Homer Dickey — voted in favor. The board noted the purchases were included in the 2025–26 budget and will proceed with the procurement steps to finalize the orders.
The presentation to the board identified the purchases as routine fleet replacements. No alternate funding sources or contingencies were discussed during the meeting; the district did not specify delivery timelines in the public session.
