Council President Yoo read the formal resolution introducing the budget and asked for a second; the motion carried on roll call with no discussion. The resolution directs the borough clerk to publish the required notice and schedules the hearing so residents can review proposed revenues and appropriations and comment in person.
Mayor Thomas Gallagher thanked council and staff for producing what he described as a “very responsible, municipal budget” and said the council welcomes public input at the scheduled hearing. No substantive amendments or debates were taken at the introduction stage; any formal changes would be considered after public comment at the May hearing.
