The Clark County Commission on Aug. 5 approved a temporary use permit allowing Majestic Realty to use a parcel for interim semi‑trailer storage until a 37,000‑square‑foot warehouse is built.
John Voorheesen, representing the applicant, said the site would accommodate 88 trailer stalls and be buffered by landscape areas of 21–42 feet depth; Public Works had no objection to the throat‑depth waiver and the applicant agreed to staff conditions. The board added a four‑year review to ensure the interim use remains appropriate while construction proceeds.
The motion passed without public speakers offering opposition at the hearing.
