At the close of formal business, Mayor Guindi opened the floor for public comment. Jim Hutchison (38 Virginia St.), Julie Meira (189 Main St.) and Teresa Hutchison (38 Virginia St.) congratulated newly sworn members and asked the council to consider increasing the number of meetings in 2026 to provide more opportunities for public input.
Council members acknowledged the requests during governing body comments: Councilman Joseph Donato reiterated support for more meetings and Councilman Nick Giannakopoulos said the current schedule is efficient but discussed meeting frequency.
