Council President Vanessa James presented a consent agenda covering routine administrative and professional appointments for 2025. The agenda included Resolution No. 3, 2025 appointing The Vigilante Law Firm and Jacqueline M. Vigilante, Esq. as interim borough solicitor; additional resolutions named a borough auditor, borough engineer, conflict engineer, bond counsel, labor counsel, borough planner, risk management consultant, redevelopment counsel, and an attorney to handle Open Public Records Act requests.
The council approved the consent agenda (Resolutions No. 3–28, 2025) by a single motion (motion James; second Fitzpatrick) and unanimous roll call. The council also approved Resolutions No. 29–31 appointing specific administrative positions, boards, committee members and mayoral assignments for council members, and invited present appointees to be sworn in immediately or to sign oaths at Borough Hall.
The meeting record lists the resolutions by number; the transcript does not include contract values or terms for these appointments in the public record. Members thanked borough staff for preparation and logistics related to the meeting.
