Union Grove ISD board approves agenda with budget amendments removed, holds closed session

The Union Grove Independent School District Board of Trustees met Sept. 9, 2024, beginning at the elementary campus at 6:00 p.m. Board President Jody Day called the meeting to order; the board approved the agenda by consensus with the deletion of budget amendments.
The board recessed to a closed session at 6:25 p.m. under Texas Government Code sections cited in the minutes and reconvened at 6:58 p.m. The minutes record "Action following closed session - None." A motion to adjourn was made by Tim Bower and seconded by Justin Smith; the meeting was then signed in the minutes.
