On April 14 the council approved Resolution R-78-2026 authorizing payment of bills. Councilwoman Johanna Stroever moved and Councilman Matthew Atlas seconded the action; it carried with six affirmative votes and an abstention from Councilman Kenneth Tilton on Boswell Engineering bills.
By consent the governing body approved R-79-2026 (accepting bids and awarding a contract for mowing and trimming of municipal facilities), R-80-2026 (authorizing redemption and cancellation of a tax lien on Block 405, Lot 19), and R-81-2026 (authorizing the hiring of a part-time Fire Sub-Code Official). Several resolutions tied to the municipal budget (R-82, R-83, R-85) were deferred to the next meeting because budget introduction was postponed.
The council recorded the abstention and approved consent items unanimously otherwise; any contract award and hiring will be finalized in the required administrative paperwork following the meeting.
