Recreation Director Bill Maranz presented a proposal at the April 14 conference meeting to transfer the storage shed nearest the batting cages from the Boy Scouts to the borough's recreation and travel baseball/softball teams. Boy Scouts leader Pete Montano said the scouts would in turn replace that shed with the older shed near the Department of Public Works grove.
Council members agreed to the transfer during the discussion; the matter was framed as an inter-organization property swap to better serve seasonal recreation needs and scout storage. No formal vote text was recorded beyond the council's agreement to proceed and follow-up implementation steps by recreation and DPW staff were implied.
