Council unanimously renews and approves transfer of liquor license for Fat Buddha business

During the non-consent portion of the April 7 special meeting, Councilwoman Johanna Stroever moved to approve R-74-2026 renewing plenary retail consumption liquor license #0715-33-003-004 to Fat Buddha, LLC d/b/a Grande Buddha for the 2025–2026 licensing year. Councilman Kenneth Tilton seconded the motion and it carried unanimously with four affirmative votes.
Councilwoman Stroever then moved to approve R-75-2026 to allow a person-to-person transfer of the same license from Fat Buddha LLC to North Dwell LLC; Council President Anthony Floria-Callori seconded and the motion likewise passed unanimously with four affirmative votes. The council recorded both licensing actions as approved non-consent items.
