Medallion also asked about AI workshops planned as part of career readiness programming and offered their own experience and willingness to help identify speakers. A council member coordinating the workshops said she was working to recruit AI specialists and state agency resources and that the sessions will be free and open to high school and college students as well as adults; she said scheduling remained fluid and that she is seeking guest speakers who may accept minimal or no compensation.
The council agreed to post community benefit awards online as soon as possible and to present additional information about outstanding requests and funding decisions at an upcoming meeting.
