Council approves liquor license transfer for new Bloomfield Avenue restaurant

The Borough Council approved Resolution R-67-2026 on March 24 authorizing the transfer of Plenary Retail Consumption Liquor License #0715-33-003-004 from Fat Buddha, LLC to North Dwell, LLC. Councilwoman Johanna Stroever told the governing body the Legal and Ordinance Committee reviewed the application and found all submissions complete; Robert Williams appeared on behalf of the new licensee and said he anticipated opening within 30 days.
Councilman Matthew Atlas described the prospective new restaurant on Bloomfield Avenue. The transfer passed unanimously and the new owner was instructed to complete any remaining state or municipal licensing requirements before opening.
