The council adopted a broad consent agenda (Resolutions 2026‑10 through 2026‑75) that included routine administrative items and professional services contracts. Among actions: appointments to advisory boards and commissions (Shade Tree, Human Relations Commission, Redevelopment Advisory Committee, Local Emergency Planning Committee, Board of Health, Library Board of Trustees, and many others); designation of official depositories and banking signatories; renewal or award of professional services contracts (auditor, public defender, bond counsel, tax counsel, employment/labor counsel, electrical engineer, IT specialist, water engineering services), and contract renewals for janitorial, public works functions and other vendors.
The council also approved Resolution 2026‑75 appointing Police Chief Mark Tinitigan as interim part‑time Borough Administrator effective Jan. 19, 2026, with a stipend of $40,000 annually. Several resolutions included CFO certification of funds for contract amounts where applicable.
