Veribest ISD board adopts new vision, mission and 2025–26 school calendar

The Veribest Independent School District Board of Trustees voted Feb. 17 to adopt a new district vision and mission and to approve the 2025–26 school calendar.
Board President Mark Kellermeier moved to adopt the new vision and mission; Dalena Freeman seconded and the motion passed 5–0. The adopted statements read: "To educate all Veribest students for their tomorrow." and "Through goal setting and accountability, Veribest will prepare students for success throughout their lives." The board separately voted to adopt the proposed 2025–2026 calendar by the same vote margin.
Board members did not attach further edits to the adopted language at the meeting. The calendar approval is a standard annual action that sets instructional and administrative dates for the coming school year.
