Chief Financial Officer Ryan Kahlden presented the proposed tax rates for the 2024–25 school year during a public hearing that opened at 5:59 p.m., and the Board later approved the rates unanimously.
Trustee Clay Schoolfield moved to adopt a maintenance and operations (M&O) tax rate of $0.7552 and an interest-and-sinking (I&S) rate of $0.4129, for a total rate of $1.1681 per $100 of valuation; Trustee Debbie Timmermann seconded and the motion passed 7–0. No members of the public spoke during the hearing, which the minutes record as closed at 6:12 p.m.
