Waller ISD selects LEAF Engineers to lead HVAC upgrade design work

The Waller Independent School District Board of Trustees on Sept. 12 approved the selection of LEAF Engineers to provide engineering services for the district’s planned HVAC upgrades.
Director of Construction Scott Walker told the board that LEAF demonstrated competence and qualifications for the work. Vice President Maria Herrera moved to approve the selection and to authorize the superintendent or his designee to negotiate, finalize and execute a contract "for a fair and reasonable price." Secretary Jeff Flukinger seconded and the board recorded a 7-0-0 vote in favor.
The board did not record contract dollar amounts in the meeting minutes; the motion authorized staff to complete negotiations and execute the contract.
