Waller ISD board approves consent agenda including personnel changes and Blinn College MOU

The Waller Independent School District Board of Trustees approved a consent agenda during its Sept. 12 regular meeting, adopting a set of personnel items, administrative reports and partnership paperwork.
Secretary Jeff Flukinger moved to approve the consent agenda "as amended in closed session," and Trustee David Kaminski seconded. The board recorded the motion as carrying 7-0-0. Items on the consent agenda included amended resignations, employment, leaves of absence and staff transfers; the district vulnerability assessment; a 4H resolution and adjunct professors item; minutes for Aug. 8 and Aug. 27, 2024; Policy Update AF (Local): Innovation District; and a Blinn College HB 5 memorandum of understanding covering 2024–2026.
No public speakers registered on agenda items. President William Warren presided over the action, which followed the board’s closed-session personnel deliberations earlier in the evening.
