Technology Director Lahne Burns told the board Dec. 16 that RSI will begin Phase III installs the week of Dec. 16–20, will return during the Christmas break to complete hardware (PA system and access control), and that classroom installs would be prioritized so they are ready when school resumes.
Burns also said she is collecting quotes for a server upgrade: the current servers went end-of-life in 2017 and the district is considering three new physical servers with an estimated project cost near $20,000. She said she expects to present a full proposal for board approval at the January meeting.
