At the meeting in Council Chambers, member Jerry Moczerniuk moved to appoint Clark and Anastasios Diacogiannis seconded. The motion carried on roll call, and the minutes record that "Mr. Clark has been appointed as Interim Chairperson." The appointment took effect immediately.
Board members also opened the meeting with the standard Open Public Meetings Act statement. As the record shows, "This meeting is called pursuant to the provisions of the Open Public Meetings Act," read at the start of the session.
The board then proceeded through its agenda, noting attendance and the presence of board professionals including the board attorney and engineer. With Clark as interim chair, the board handled a zoning appeal and routine administrative motions before adjourning.
