Superintendent Kurt Ashmore provided the Superintendent’s Report noting three staff resignations (Shelby Morris, Katelynn Molina and Brooke Patterson), a brief legislative update, and a school safety and security meeting scheduled for Thursday, May 15 at 8:30 a.m. He also reminded the board that the TASB Spring School Board Workshop is May 21 in Canyon and that senior graduation is scheduled for Friday, May 16 at 7:00 p.m. at the football field.
Principal Deidre Kane reported on numerous end-of-year activities across campus: Teacher Appreciation Week events, Head Start early dismissals for home visits, elementary awards, rescheduled 5th grade STEM field trips, semester exam schedules (May 13–15 with 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. exam blocks noted), and an enrollment figure of 241 students for the 2024–25 school year.
