Tenafly Library Board approves January minutes and January financial statements

At its Feb. 9 meeting, the Tenafly Public Library Board of Trustees unanimously approved the minutes of the Jan. 12, 2026 regular meeting (moved by Vice President Kathleen Cook; seconded by Elizabeth Warms).
President Martin Gilbert reviewed the Library’s January 2026 financial statements and said he "had examined and approved of the statements and reported that they were current and accurate." After discussion the board approved the financial reports on a unanimous vote (motion moved by Yelena Meytes; seconded by Nicole Motz).
The minutes and financial statements were entered into the record; no correspondence was reported and no questions about the January finances were recorded in the minutes.
