Board welcomes new teachers ahead of fall semester

At the meeting the board welcomed multiple newly hired teachers who introduced themselves and the buildings where they will teach. New hires included Jessica Bridal, Riley Hogan, Amy Grummel, McKenna Wilkie, Jessica Ojens and Grace Morin.
The board set aside time to welcome newly hired teachers to Monroe Public Schools. Each new hire came to the microphone to introduce themselves and state what building they will be working in.
New hires who spoke included Jessica Bridal (entering year six of teaching and assigned to the 56 Building), Riley Hogan (high school English), Amy Grummel (6th grade at 56 Building), McKenna Wilkie (2nd grade at Custer Elementary), Jessica Ojens (returning teacher with 16 years at Monroe Public Schools) and Grace Morin (kindergarten at Custer Elementary). Superintendent and board members congratulated the group and invited them to stay for the meeting.
The introductions provided a public opportunity for the board and community to meet incoming staff ahead of the fall school year.
