The council adopted Ordinance 10-2026, which amends the borough's land-use code to revise the definition of a corner lot. Resident Kevin Gonzalez asked why the previous definition was removed; the attorney and council explained the new text is more detailed and intended to clarify the rule.
Council also introduced Ordinance 14-2026 to amend Chapter 307, Section 307-8, expanding the Tree Fund's allowable uses to include procurement, planting, maintenance, replacement of trees on public and private parcels, tree-maintenance equipment and educational outreach. Both items proceed through their required public-notice and hearing schedules as provided by borough procedure.
