Eatontown swears in four new police sergeants

Mayor Anthony Talerico and Chief Theresa Healy recognized and congratulated four officers—Sgt. Kevin Licknack, Sgt. Kenneth Errickson, Sgt. James Christie and Sgt. Sgt. Kevin Licknack, Sgt. Kenneth Errickson, Sgt. James Christie and Sgt. Michael Schmerler were recognized for their family support, education, work history and accomplishments. Councilmember Meir Araman administered the oaths of office.
The mayor and chief both thanked family members and borough residents for supporting the promoted officers. No formal vote or ordinance was required; the administrations and the council completed the ceremonial oaths during the workshop portion of the evening's meetings.
