District announces convocation, onboarding and launch plans for 2026–27

Dr. Collier provided a back-to-school update outlining convocation and staff onboarding. He said learning services has run onboarding sessions and that a convocation is scheduled for 8 a.m. tomorrow to officially start the 2026–27 year.
"We have convocation, tomorrow morning at 8 where we will welcome everyone and officially kick off the 2627 school year," Dr. Collier said, and thanked tech and custodial teams for preparations amid construction activity. He also highlighted walk-up registration at the high school and community partner events such as a resource fair at Pauline Central.
Collier said administrators will present building-level blueprints and data comparisons at an upcoming meeting and reiterated district support for professional learning community teams and instructional facilitators throughout the year.
