Bridgeview board approves minutes, three inspector appointments and bills payable

The Village Board of the Village of Bridgeview met on March 19, 2025 and conducted several routine items in a brief session. Mayor Steven M. Landek called the meeting to order at 12:00 p.m., and the board approved the minutes of the March 5, 2025 meeting (motion 2025-M-23). The roll-call vote on the minutes recorded five ayes (Trustees Higginson, Pticek, Pinion, Struzik and Lewis) and one abstention by Trustee Baste; the motion carried.
The board then approved three appointments and routine financial business. The board appointed Ken Pannaralla, Jr. as a part-time Health Inspector (motion 2025-M-24) and appointed Martin Field as a Building Inspector (motion 2025-M-25); both motions passed on 6–0 roll-call votes. Trustee Struzik moved and Trustee Lewis seconded the appointment of Ruben Almendarez as a part-time Electrical Inspector (motion 2025-M-26); that motion also passed 6–0. The board approved bills payable as of March 19, 2025 (motion 2025-M-27) on a 6–0 roll-call vote. Trustee Lewis moved to adjourn (motion 2025-M-28); the board voted 6–0 and the meeting ended at 12:04 p.m.
