Principals thank trustees as West Rusk celebrates Board Recognition Month

Board Recognition Month was noted at the Jan. 21, 2025 meeting, when principals Jake Jackson (High School), Lori Burke (Junior High), Burt Langley (Intermediate) and Carlette Mills (Elementary) thanked trustees for their service and presented gifts from students and faculty. The minutes state the dinner was funded by West Rusk High School faculty and prepared by the culinary arts department under Denese Tolar; one culinary student will prepare the same menu at a regional competition.
Trustees accepted the recognition and gifts; this was an informational and ceremonial portion of the meeting with no board action required.
