CRA authorizes $150,000 purchase of 186 North Street to support East Winter Garden streetscape plans

Economic Development Director Marc Hutchinson presented a CRA recommendation to authorize the City Manager to execute a purchase-sale agreement for undeveloped property at 186 North Street for $150,000. Hutchinson said the parcel would support planned streetscape improvements along North Street and align with goals of the East Winter Garden revitalization plan. "This parcel would help with the streetscape improvement plans along North Street and with the overall goals of the revitalization efforts aligning with the East Winter Garden Plan," he said.
CRA Advisory Board Member Larry Cappleman noted the item had been reviewed and approved unanimously by the CRA Advisory Board. CRA Member Charlie Mae Wilder moved to authorize execution of the purchase-sale agreement and the CRA voted 7-0 in favor.
