Safety committee drafting e-scooter and e-bike ordinance; council to receive proposal next meeting

Jay, the Safety committee representative, said the committee discussed concerns about e-scooters and e-bikes and is working on a draft ordinance. "We are currently working on an ordinance for those, and we should have something to bring to you guys at the next council meeting as long as everything's on track," Jay said.
A staff member confirmed edits to ordinance drafts (Article 13 and Article 14) related to e-scooters and e-bikes and said the changes will be distributed to council once typos and final checks are complete. The committee also announced its next meeting date and asked that council members review the draft when circulated.
