District says bus-focused PBIS training cut weekly referrals by roughly two-thirds

Staff credited focused training, consistent messaging from transportation leadership and use of Kickboard for the change. They also reported 79,004 bus‑only positive acknowledgments recorded under the district’s Respectful‑Responsible‑Safe pillars, and said drivers and monitors now use the same referral system as teachers so incidents are tracked centrally.
