District unveils new athletics website and reports stable participation, state qualifiers

Kyle said the site will act as a "one-stop shop" for schedules (synced in real time), FinalForms registration, team pages, galleries, and links to NFHS livestreams. He said the site should simplify registration and communications for parents and coaches.
On participation, Kyle reported an average of about 143 student-athletes per season and noted several academic- and team-recognition programs such as the WIAA Scholastic Awards and Pacific All League honors. He highlighted recent successes: boys wrestling district champions with state placers and two individual state champions in wrestling, and qualifying athletes in track and field. "So on average, we've got about a 143 kids that are participating each season," Kyle said.
Board members thanked coaches and volunteers and had no objections to continuing the site and the athletics program approach.
