The board’s Public Safety Committee items were approved April 14. Trustee Steve Price moved and Trustee Roger Minale seconded approval of workstation furniture and cabinets from Interiors for Business, Inc. for the Public Safety Department at a cost of $102,427.29; the motion passed unanimously.
The board also approved renewal of a five-year License Franchise Agreement with Norcomm Public Safety Communications Inc. for wireless fire alarm services, and authorized purchase of a 2025 Ford F-250 for the Fire Training Division from Sutton Ford for $58,502.00. Minutes record all three motions carried with unanimous votes.
