Township readies sewer interceptor bid, cites $900,000 state grant

Matt told council the September meeting cycle will be busy with several project bids and expected awards, including the long‑standing Sewer Interceptor Phase 3B project. He said the township was awarded a $900,000 LSA grant to help offset the sewer project's cost and that Carroll Engineering is the lead consultant on the project.
"One of which is the sewer interceptor project phase 3 b... In the meantime, we were awarded a $900,000 grant, an LSA grant from the state to help offset those costs," Matt said. Staff said bid results and a recommendation to award to the lowest responsible bidder will be brought to council at the September business meeting. Matt also described minor change orders on ongoing projects (Harmonville Fire Station rebuild) that were approved administratively because they were under the council's prior authorization thresholds.
