The Village of Pleasant Prairie Board of Review convened June 24 and appointed James Bellotti as acting chair after the regular chair was absent. The board then approved the May 21, 2025 minutes by voice vote.
The meeting included a series of routine procedural actions and votes. Clerk read multiple objections and assessment details into the record and the board handled stipulations and waivers recommended by the assessor's office. For Exeter properties the board accepted a stipulation that reduced one parcel's assessment to $5,270,900 and approved waivers that allow the taxpayers to continue any further challenges in circuit court. Board members also approved an assessor-proposed reduction for a residential parcel from $72,900 to $29,200 after staff informed the board of a wetland-delineation change that affected developability.
Clerk and counsel confirmed roll-call votes for contested items. Acting Chair James Bellotti presided over the remainder of the agenda and, after addressing all listed matters including procedural dismissals and waivers to circuit court, the Board adjourned.
