Winona ISD recognizes students, teacher and support staff for March

Board recognized Students of the Month across campuses, named Paiton Mitchell Teacher of the Month, and Isabel Solis Support Staff of the Month during the March 24 meeting.
Winona ISD trustees recognized Students of the Month for each campus: Elementary students Elamaran Velmurugan and Leighvi Bates; Middle School students Madilyn Hobbs and Nathan Parker; and High School students Valerie Hernandez and Jesus Crayton. The board also named Paiton Mitchell Teacher of the Month and support staff member Isabel Solis as Support Staff of the Month.
The recognitions were presented in open session as part of the superintendentupdate and special recognition portion of the agenda. The minutes list the honorees by name but do not include citation text for each award.
