Chief Financial Officer Mike Doyle presented the Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas (FIRST) report and explained the state's performance metrics and how ratings are assigned. "Wimberley ISD achieved an impressive score of 98 out of 100," Doyle said, and he reviewed each rating indicator with the board to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the assessment and results.
Doyle also used the finance report to brief trustees on November and December tax-collection expectations, noting that collections were expected to return to normal levels after a delay in tax statements. The quarterly investment report and portfolio performance charts were presented alongside the FIRST results; Doyle mentioned anticipated interest-rate reductions as part of the investment outlook.
