Director Heidi Kaiven told trustees that the library’s state report had been filed and outlined upcoming programming: a Medicare information session on April 16, Norwescap’s spring computer program series, and the youth summer reading program with the theme "Unearth a Story," which will include dinosaur programming. Kaiven also said the new circulation desk is tentatively scheduled to ship on April 10 and that she had already contacted an electrician to connect power.
Trustees heard these operational updates as part of the director’s monthly report; no committee actions or votes were associated with the programming or the desk delivery date during the meeting. The board will monitor implementation and equipment installation as Kaiven prepares to depart at the end of June.
