The clerk told the council that the canvass exhibits attached to Resolution 26-09 include precinct-by-precinct tallies, rejected ballot information and other required returns.
“As set forth in the exhibit,” the clerk said, the record shows a total of 1,230 ballots cast and 1,901 active registered voters. The clerk also read precinct-level candidate tallies and noted numbers for rejected ballots and undervotes; those counts were incorporated into the resolution by reference.
The transcript includes the numeric totals but contains transcription noise in several candidate-name lines; the clerk twice directed council members to the exhibits for the official precinct breakdowns. The council asked a procedural question to make sure undervotes and contest categories were clearly explained; staff confirmed the exhibits contain those details and offered to answer follow-up questions.
The exhibits described in the record (exhibits A, B and C) will be part of the town’s official canvass file and used for issuing certificates of election or nomination as required by state law.
