Board Secretary Sarah Wilkinson administered the Oath of Office to trustees Chad Evans, Melissa Halterman and Clayton Hawkins at the Wink-Loving Independent School District special meeting May 13. The board convened at 6:00 p.m. in the district administration board room in Wink, Texas.
Trustee Melissa Halterman moved to retain the current slate of officers for 2025–26 — President Brad White, Vice President Melissa Halterman, Secretary Sarah Wilkinson and Assistant Secretary Raymond Dodd — and Trustee Raymond Dodd seconded. "I move to keep the current slate of officers for the 2025-2026 school year," Halterman said before the board approved the motion by a unanimous vote. The board recorded Brad White as absent for the meeting.
The actions formalize seating of the trustees and preserve continuity in officer roles ahead of the district's 2025 bond projects.
