The Boyceville Community School District Board of Education met in a work session and special meeting on Aug. 13, 2025, convening at 6:09 p.m. Board Members Amber Carlsrud, Stacy Fetzer, Sharon Formoe, Ben Mrdutt and Jessie Olson were present; District Administrator Nick Kaiser attended.
"Motion by Sharon Formoe to approve the agenda as presented. Seconded by Ben Mrdutt. Motion carried." The board then reviewed its 2025-26 Pillars/Focus document, which the minutes note will be updated frequently throughout the school year by building principals and the superintendent.
Board members created a schedule for director reports to be delivered during regular Board meetings over the school year and identified agenda items they wish to discuss. The directors' report topics the board listed include athletics; food service; transportation; community education; buildings, grounds and maintenance; information technology; reading specialist updates; and data reporting. Board members emphasized using the schedule to ensure consistent updates from district departments.
No formal action was taken on the Pillars/Focus document during the work session; the document was presented for review and will be revised by staff and principals during the year.
The next regular meeting will follow the schedule adopted for director reports, with specific presentation dates to be set by district administration.
