During the public-comment portion of the meeting, resident Mike Campbell described a plan, developed with Tom Pahler, to plant hybrid trees around a perimeter in place of a berm.
Campbell said the plan requires a variance from the town before he can proceed with approvals from the DEC. The board acknowledged the request and noted that a formal variance application will be needed before the town can act on permitting or provide a recommendation to state authorities.
