Board member Douglas Eichten reported on March 10 that the district has ongoing issues with a boiler heat exchanger and has engaged Complete Control and the exchanger manufacturer to diagnose repairs. The district has also solicited a quote for a new boiler but had not received that estimate by the meeting.
Eichten also reported the district's electric buses are programmed to charge at a higher voltage from 9 p.m. to midnight and described daytime charging as lower‑voltage. "They should remain plugged in all day," he said, noting buses charge at a lower voltage during daytime hours. No formal action was taken; the board will await the vendor quote and further recommendations.
