Granton board receives audit booklet, previews calendar and approves several policy updates

Board received audit report booklets for review, was shown a slim draft 2025–26 calendar for future review, and approved updates to policies on communicable diseases, graduation requirements and entrance age.
Board members were handed audit report booklets and were asked to contact District Administrator Nancy Popp if they have questions so the auditors can be contacted. The board was also presented with a slim draft of the 2025–26 calendar and told a more complete calendar will be presented at the next meeting.
The board approved policy updates for Communicable Diseases (Chapter 8; Section I), Graduation Requirements (Chapter 9; Section K), and Entrance Age (Chapter 10; Section C). The motions to approve those policy updates were made by Dennis Kuehn and seconded by Mark Elmhorst and carried by voice vote.
