Board hears community support for adding FACE, business and Spanish classes; district cites $200,000 estimate

Community members and parents urged the board to consider adding those courses to keep students engaged and to offer programs other districts might not provide.
Speakers asked whether the district currently pays other districts for courses and whether increased course offerings could help retain or attract students. One parent said their family remained in Granton because of FFA, suggesting career-technical offerings influence enrollment. Board members did not take a vote on establishing the new positions at the special meeting.
