The Darlington Community School District Policy Committee voted on Oct. 30, 2024 to recommend rescinding the earlier approval that allowed an indoor soccer league to use district facilities. Committee member Nick Zuberbuhler moved the recommendation; Jeff Riechers seconded and the motion carried.
The committee also recommended that the high school gym not be used by outside school groups from November through March. The action was recorded in the minutes as a committee recommendation; the full board will consider any final action.
