Frank Middle School project on schedule; district reports zero lost-time incidents

"This project continues to move forward on schedule and within budget with the finish line in sight for early 2027," a staff presenter said. The presenter reported the team has been onsite for 378 of a planned 568 days, has recorded 281 quality observations, completed glass installation in classroom wings 300 through 600 and finished certain brickwork in area 200. Safety was emphasized; staff said there have been no lost-time incidents to date.
The presentation also described weather-preparedness work, installation of water-source heat pumps, temporary air conditioning during construction, and use of BIM and robotic total-station technology to reduce rework and precisely locate building elements. Board members were invited to scheduled site tours for staff and board in August or September as the project nears interior finishes.
