At 7:52 p.m. on Nov. 20 the board voted to adjourn to closed session "pursuant to W.S.S. 19.85(1)(d) to consider strategy for crime detection or prevention." The motion, made by President Lindsey Lewitzke and seconded by Katie Felch, passed on a roll-call vote of 7–0. The minutes record the closed-session motion, the roll call, and the start time of 7:52 p.m.
In closed session the board reviewed school violence drill reports (Fall 2024) and approved the reports by voice vote. The closed-session minutes also record approval of the closed-session minutes and show President Lewitzke adjourning the closed session at 8:44 p.m. The public minutes do not include the content of the safety reports because they were discussed in closed session.
