Board removes transportation-by-private-vehicle policy from first-reading for further review
Summary
During first readings of several policies on Nov. 20, the board voted to amend the motion and remove policy po8660 (Transportation by Private Vehicle for District-Sponsored Activities or Trips) for additional review. The remaining first-reading policies were approved.

Board Member Larry Schaefer moved, and Katie Felch seconded, an amendment to remove policy po8660 (Transportation by Private Vehicle for District-Sponsored Activities or Trips) for further review. The amendment passed on a voice vote and the board then approved the remaining policies on first reading.
The minutes list the policy numbers considered on first reading and explicitly note the removal of po8660 for further review; the record does not include the substance of the concern that prompted the removal or any proposed alternate language. Additional review of po8660 will occur before the board acts again on that specific policy.
