Planner and Management Analyst Robert Savage updated the Committee on the Bike and Pedestrian Planning Study, saying the City hosted the first working-group meeting with planners from the Metropolitan Agency for Planning (CMAP) and that the session produced robust discussion of existing conditions and how people move around the city without a car.
Savage said CMAP staff have released an online survey and community engagement materials, which include interactive maps and communication tools; he asked RMEC members to complete the survey and help advertise planrollingmeadows.com. The Committee will be asked to take part in further CMAP outreach as staff coordinate with other stakeholder groups.
