City staff present tree‑planting plan; 40 trees quoted at $680 pending City Forester review

Planner and Management Analyst Robert Savage told the Committee that planting locations shown on the agenda remain subject to change and that a final map will be provided before the event. He said the "initial discussions for quantity were for 40 trees, and staff have obtained a quote from a local nursery for $680 for 40 1-gallon plants."
Savage warned the quantity and locations could change after consultation with the City Forester and noted staff are still determining how the final invoice will be split because some planting areas overlap Park District and City property. No binding budget commitment was made at the meeting.
