Clerk, deputy sworn in as board records election results and annual appointments

The Village of Mannsville Board of Trustees completed its annual appointments at the Jan. 7 meeting. Clerk and Local Registrar Paula Easton and Deputy Clerk and Deputy Local Registrar Sarah Smith signed their oaths of office, and Valeria 'Val' Deon was named deputy mayor. Commissions were assigned: Brandon Walizer for water, Charlie Graves for streets, Jarod Ormsby for zoning and Val Deon for compliance.
The board also recorded election results for two-year trustee terms (12/24–11/26), with Charlie Graves and Jarod Ormsby sworn in for those seats. The minutes note that Mayor Jon LaLone and Trustees Val Deon and Brandon Walizer will be up for election in November 2025. No contested votes were recorded in the minutes for the January meeting.
